When you come to Mount Holyoke, you’ll live and study among the same thriving, dynamic community of thinkers and doers from around the world.
Last year, students from 61 countries— or more specifically, those who needed visas — studied at MHC. They entered as first-year, transfer, or Frances Perkins students working toward a bachelor’s degree or through other academic programs.

Global Competence Award
An award given to seniors with demonstrated achievement in language learning, cultural immersion, global perspective-taking, and cross-cultural learning.
Global Engagement Award
An annual award given in recognition of outstanding commitment to raising awareness of critical global issues across campus and beyond.

A photo contest open to any student who participated in study, internships, or research outside of their home country.
