What is happening?
The parking lot(s) behind the admissions building are going to be reconstructed and repaved to improve parking lot conditions as well as make accessibility improvements to the lot. This includes the parking lot designated to MHC Admissions as well as other adjacent parking spaces dedicated to the Village Commons that extend to the west.
This work is taking place in two phases.
- Phase 1 will primarily affect Village Commons parking areas and the MHC Admissions parking area will be unaffected. This work will take place 8/1/26 - 10/31/26.
- Phase 2 will affect the MHC Admissions parking area and be completed in May/June 2027. Future notices and announcements will be made as this phase of work approaches.
The contractor will post cones and signage to redirect traffic and pedestrians as needed during the project. For Phase 2 of the project, alternate parking arrangements will be provided for MHC Admissions staff and guests.
