What is happening?
Accessibility improvements: curb cut ramps will be added to the sidewalks on the south end of Skinner Hall (toward Rockefeller), the east side of Mead Hall (toward Pratt) and the west side of Pratt Hall (facing Lower Lake Road), beginning on June 30th:
Area is highlighted on the map
Building entry/egress, roadway access and parking will not be impacted
Personnel will be monitoring to ensure safety of community members
Sidewalk paving: sidewalks will be paved at the Skinner, Mead and Pratt areas detailed above, beginning on July 6th:

Chapin Road paving: a partial section of Chapin Road will be paved (from Rt. 116/ College Street inward), beginning on July 8th:

Chapin Road will be closed for 2 days: July 8th-10th
Mary Woolley hall building entrances/ egress will not be impacted
The Chapin Road PVTA bus stop will be temporarily closed - call 413-781-7882 with questions and refer to the PVTA alerts page
Road closure and detour/directional signage will be in place
Personnel will be monitoring to ensure safety of community members
When is this happening?
Tuesday, June 30th:

Sidewalk paving will begin at the Skinner, Mead and Pratt sidewalk areas detailed above. This work is expected to be completed by July 10th.
Wednesday, July 8th:
Chapin Road paving will begin. The work is expected to be completed by July 10th.
