Division of Student Life to become Division of Student Affairs effective July 1

Effective July 1, the Division of Student Life will transition to the Division of Student Affairs.

This change modernizes the division's identity in alignment with national professional standards, better reflecting the depth and scope of its work. The division's efforts to support student well-being, safety and belonging are all fundamentally in service to the College’s commitment to holistic student and academic success, a core pillar of the MHC Forward strategic plan.

Concurrently, Disability Services will officially join the division on July 1, a natural alignment that strengthens our integrated network of holistic care and support for students.

Please note that the core mission of the division remains the same. The Division of Student Affairs will continue its steadfast focus on health, safety, co-curricular involvement and community development. In close coordination with campus partners, our primary goal remains to ensure that every student is supported to achieve both academic and post-graduation success.

Daily campus life and the way students interact with our staff and access our resources will not change.
