The Geothermal Project will be shoring a transformer that feeds the main power to Abbey, Buckland, and Skinner Hall. This will require turning off the main power to all three buildings to performing this work staring June 9th and completing June 12th. Skinner Hall will be receiving a temporary generator to keep normal power running during this time frame. Expect some humming noise from the generator outside the building that may be heard if within close proximity. The elevator will not be available for use during the shutdown.
Abbey and Buckland Hall will not have normal power during this operation and building use will be restricted.
